As my preferred route from home to the village centre is via Drury Lane and Townhead I very much agree with this comment as the green at this junction is regularly used as a carpark. When one recalls that DVS planted daffodil bulbs in this green one's irritation increases.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the solution is close to hand. As there are no pavements on the upper half of Drury Lane some residents have placed large stones on their grass verges to prevent parking on them. Perhaps DVS should consider doing the same?
I would guess placing large stones on the grass verges is against the law.
